10.28 Bad Vibrations & Roberta Bondar!

Ottawa Explosion presents...

Driving, energetic with great melodies and vocal harmonies. They sound like the "indie rock" bands of the early 90's, back when indie rock wasn't a four letter word that evoked the image of boring soulless music played by bands with 9 members minimum.

Another band harkening back to the good old days of indie rock. Just listen to their song "The Mistakes" and you'll get the picture. (

9 PM

This show will be over by 11 pm and then put on your dancing shoes and get busy on the dancefloor at SHAMELESS!

RatTail is Jasmyn Burke (Hot Monogamy) on guitar and vocals, backed by Jesse Matthews (the Strag) who plays the drums, and makes the visuals, and Tim Fagan (We're Marching On) on bass duties. Toronto's Unfamiliar Records released RatTail's limited edition (300 copies George Mounsey 7" in late spring 2010. Which was followed by a long summer tour all across Canada.
